I am volunteering and I am unfamiliar with the site so I had a few questions.
Is there a specific place or person we should check in with to let them know we are present?
Are there basic costume/clothing we should bring? (Like Basic Blacks, etc)
What/where are the volunteer sleeping quarters?
Are there shower facilities that are separate from the players (the larp I currently play is set up this way)?
Do we need to supply our own mattresses (I have chronic back issues and usually sleep on a double air mattress)?
Do we need to bring food or pay for meals?
These are the questions I can think of as I start packing. Thanks so much!
I’m going to try not to miss any (I’m at site and on my phone).
You should go directly to the staff center to check in (it’s the building directly in front of you once you cross the bridge into camp). We’ll tell you what to do from there.
Basic blacks are good.
We have sleeping areas in the staff center and in two cabins further up the hill (Blueberry and Blackberry on the map).
There’s a shower in the staff center.
The camp has its own mattresses, both in the cabins and the staff center, and there are couches. You are welcome to bring anything special you need.
We will provide food - the same food the players her, detailed on a menu on the forums.
Let me know if you have any more questions!
