The Moon as it relates to Orbits

As I was staying up way too late last night, I had the sudden realization that I had no idea how the moon works at Port Katherine. I assume part of it is just that it is opposite the sun when it/we rotates but I also assume that the moon has phases similar to our moon. How would that work? Is it on some kind of wobbly orbit where the sun comes through and reflects on it in different ways or is it something else? I’m not sure if anyone has gotten an answer in game, but I’m curious to know if anyone has any hypotheses or a definitive answer.

Edit: It has been pointed out to me that the thing I thought someone said to me was probably a joke out-of-context or something. In any case, I amend this to state that I have no insights into the nature of the moon.

I figured, ha ha. I’m just soliciting ideas if staff has no input. The flat Earth society has some suggestions but they all rely on Earth being a disk that you can’t see through even deep under the ocean.
