This came up this event and I wanted to make sure I was doing it correctly.

If you encounter a tag that says, for example, “Arcane Perception 2”, under most circumstances you need 2 people with Arcane Perception to read it. Presumably they both take any benefits or detriments from the tag, and then the tag is potentially expended (if it says “take this tag with you and discard it”). So far, so good.

But can you potentially team up more people than necessary assuming they all have the skill? Could I get 8 spiritualists together to read a single ‘Arcane Perception 2’ tag presuming they all have Arcane Perception and we all do it at the same time? Or would we have to just pick two of us?

You can share the tag with as many people as you like. Keep in mind, however, that the tag is expended the moment that 2 people worth of Arcane Perception decide they want to open it, and you cannot prevent them from opening it by, say, hiding the tag.

I suppose I should clarify: use common sense. A Chemistry 1 tag about a white flower cannot be used by 8 people.

The more I think about this, the less certain I am. I’m going to go back and think about this one some more.
