Friends,
As I am sure you all read in the paper this Dawning, the Tiyagan forces have captured Northmarch after a foul surprise attack. While I am certain the fine women of our Navy will recover it before the War is concluded, I do worry that the Admiralty may not fully realize its value, and fail to properly prioritize its return.
I am hoping that those of us with the ability to gain the ear of the women of the Capital might be willing to assist me in a letter writing campaign to convey Northmarch’s importance, and to help ensure that it does not remain in the foul clutches of the Tiyagans a moment longer than necessary. Several of you were kind enough to offer assistance already. If those who are interested and available could let me know, either here or privately [facebook or slack work fine] how many hours they might be able to spend on this before Fire, I will try and organize an efficient and effective campaign.
Obviously, the exact approach I will seek to follow will depend on how much effort can be assembled. Once I have an estimate of that, I will reach out to those of you interested in a few days, certainly before the end of next week, to discuss what I think the best approach might be.
Your servant,
Frederick, Comptess Northmarch
