[All Public Works are covered for Spring-Summer 1722]
To my fellow citizens,
The Town Council is seeking individuals to work on maintaining the public works between Spring and Summer for the rate of 10 ducats. Given that we are unsure what funds will receive from the disbanded Parliament, you are welcome to choose to donate your labor or donate 5d of your fee. Simply let me know and I will ensure that it occurs. I will update this posting as various individuals volunteer in writing below or reach out to individual councilors to claim a public work so that the public works needing a person are evident.
10 ducats will be paid for your labor
Public Works to Be Maintained
Sewers: James Corvid
Fire Station: Rukiye Maryam
Customs House: Tea Alize
Hospital Improvements: Friday Alize
Post Office: Scrap Alize
Bank Vault: Jules Alabaster
Dry Docks: Celeste
Gaol: Lyra
Graveyard: Narhrach Quigley
Generator Mill: Middletown Book, Isaac
Please note that this season, Town Council has taken on the Generator Mill to maintain with the understanding that should the sale of Electricity be less than the cost of the goods maintaining it, the Engineering Guild will make up the difference. We have also chosen to take on the Graveyard, which has been painstakingly built by the Spiritualists of the town, with the caveat that should resources and funds not be sufficient to maintain it, Nathrach Quigley will take on the maintenance of this work.
Please note that the Generator Mill was built with the understanding above in place and that the Graveyard being added to our docket was a unanimous vote by Town Council. As declared previously, Town Council WILL NOT take on a public work you built yourself without consulting us and receiving our agreement that we will maintain it. If you build a public work yourself, you maintain it yourself.
Finally I would like to thank all who assisted with the refurbishment of the Hospital in this time of war. It is once again ready to be a place of healing and rest.
Thank you for your time,
Councilor Rukiye Maryam Alize min bayt Amira
