Eh, the community is already split between FB, the forums, and slack (and those who use none of these). Only a percentage of players use the slack anyway.

Really this is a place to make it easy to hop on if people want to play a game together. Not as a whole new discussion board.
Discord usually has a very stable voice chat system that can make it easy to communicate.
