Walnut puzzles with Addie, Francis, Rosie and Avy and everyone else who helped, even though we were terrible at it and the fox told us we were bad at it.

-Performing a dissection on a half-frozen chicken
-Cutting and removing eggs/maggots/flies from Girardâs arms
-Removing parasites from someoneâs legs immediately after
-Fighting off Yetis and arctic foxes as half the tavern ignores and tries to eat their lunches
-Cheering for the Krakens with our tentacle wave
-The sheer amount of critical bodies stacked up in the infirmary after the last fight

After pushing down the path to get the Queen to safety, leaving bodies in our wake as the Tiyagans picked us off off one by one, the Queen finally boarded the HMS Indomitable. At this point, I looked around to assess the situation. In the final clearing, there was the Queen wielding a sword, three Naval officers, and⊠⊠âŠis that someone sprawled unconscious on the ground carrying a pie??? Where did they come from, how did THEY somehow make it to the final stand, and was our last resort to just pie the Tiyagans in the face???
No plan survives first contact.

Bunkmates reminded me on Friday night that there was a rumour about writing a letter to someone you lost and leaving it in your shoe with acorns and realizing I hadnât lost anyone, so I made up a dead girlfriend on the spot. I full-on sobbed later on Saturday about her during the rememberance ceremony.
